Basic Principles and Use of Non Compression Packing

Non compression packing is deceptively simple, but provides useful benefits. It is designed in a format similar to a drum. The packing maintains its volume due to a base yarn that is configured to return to its original shape after pressure is applied, much like a ball, but equalise pressure during use.

Non compression packing encompasses modern technologies in which graphite is exfoliated and entrapped while glass particles are used for reinforcement. Due to its flexibility and ability to equalise pressure gradients, non compression packing helps reduce downtime and service costs while increasing service life and output.
