Tsurumi KTZ Series
The KTZ series of submersible drainage pumps is a heavy duty pump suitable for construction work. The cast iron pump body presents a different way of top durability that can not be obtained by the aluminum body pumps. Submersion depth of up to 50m. They are fitted with semi open type impeller (Hi chrome iron)
AUTO VERSION
The KTZE series are equipped with electrode control sensors for automatic operation.
Pump operation starts when the water level rises and contacts the electrode. A timer function eliminates excessive activations caused by agitated water. The pump will operate for a further minute after the water-electrode contact is lost.
The electrode eliminates dry-running, reduces power consumption and extends operating life.
SLURRY VERSION … KTD SERIES
The KTD series are cast iron, heavy duty slurry pumps based on the KTZ series. An agitator assists the smooth of suction solids in suspension. The semi open type impeller & agitator are Hi chrome iron for durability & corrosion resistance.

Moving water in mining applications often requires 1000V rated voltage pumps, Tsurumi can manufacture its submersible pumps to rated voltages between 380 – 1000V. The pumps for mining application are equipped with screened cables and motor incorporated with built-in diodes for ground fault checks, therefore they meet mining safety regulations. Furthermore, because Tsurumi deals in motors and pumps of this power class, it has equipment for testing 1000V power supply units and motors in-house.
