High Quality Pump or Cheap Pump: You Decide.

Back

October 6, 2017 By Mike Hurlbatt

We have always believed that it is easier to buy a high quality pump now than it is to buy a cheap pump and suffer the consequences later. We understand this sound superficial, so we would like to give you a deeper explanation about why it is better to choose a high-quality pump over a cheap pump.

We understand that people like to save money and that they don’t like to pay a lot of money for equipment such as pumps. However, we have long contended that it is much less expensive in the long run to buy a high-quality pump now than it is to buy two or three cheap pumps over the same period of time and put up with all of the maintenance and downtime.

High Quality Pump or Cheap Pump: You Decide.

Cheap pumps cost less because they are made of cheaper materials. Often, factories that produce cheaper pumps pay less attention to detail and tend to produce a much higher number of defective pumps than an international company which prides itself on its high-quality.

You might get great results from a cheap pump if you don’t need to use it very often. For example, if you need a cheap submersible pump for use around your home, you may only use it once or twice a year and think the odds are in your favor. But in a flash flooding situation, do you really want to trust your home to a cheap pump?

Why the High Quality Pump Always Wins

High quality pumps by elite manufacturers are made of the best materials to the most stringent of specifications. Our pump manufacturers are the best in the world at what they do and their designs are more efficient, saving you money on the amount of power they use. In addition, our high quality pumps are capable of 24/7 operation for days, months and even years at a time.

When you use a high quality pump, it works better, it is more trustworthy and it lasts a lot longer than a cheap pump. Whether it’s your home or your multimillion-dollar mining operation, it just makes good sense to buy a high-quality pump and do it right the first time.
