Gorman-Rupp Pumps for the Mining Industry
Gorman-Rupp offers a wide variety of pumps for the mining industry. They manufacture both above-ground and below-ground pumps to handle every aspect of pumping for the mining industry.
Gorman-Rupp Below-Ground Pumps
Super T Series: The Super T series consists of centrifugal pumps that are self-priming with repriming capability, medium head pumps for handling heavy solids. They are built with the most advanced maintenance and design features. They also offer a precursor to the Super T series called the T-Series, which doesn’t have quite as many maintenance and design updates but is a solid choice for heavy duty work.
O Series: The O Series consists of high head centrifugal pumps that are self-priming with straight-in suction and an enclosed impeller. They are designed for clean liquids.
80 Series: The 80 series consists of self-priming, centrifugal open-impeller pumps with end suction. They are designed for applications involving limited solids and medium head.
10 Series: The 10 Series consists of self-priming centrifugal pumps with an end suction design for heavy duty solids and medium head applications.
S Series: The S Series consists of portable, submersible centrifugal pumps for industrial and contractor applications. They are available in both slimline and wide base configurations. The SM series is similar but built specifically for mining use and approved for mines by one of the most stringent standards in the world: MSHA.
Other Below-Ground Pumps: For trash and sewage applications, they offer the HS Series: vortex impeller centrifugal pumps that are submersible and hydraulic powered. They also offer numerous other centrifugal pumps with side suction or end suction, for clean liquids, dirty liquids, high head or solids.
Gorman-Rupp Above-Ground Pumps
Gorman Rupp offers many of the above series as above-ground pumps. The Super T, 80 Series and 10 Series are offered in engine-driven models. The Super T and the 10 Series are used for trash applications, while the 80 Series is used for limited solids. The O Series is offered for clean liquids.
The PA or Prime Aire series consists of priming assisted centrifugal pumps for handling solids. They feature a venturi and compressor priming system and are used for bypass applications by contractors.
There is another portable submersible pump for above ground use: the SE Series, used for light dewatering applications.
They also offer the D Series, consisting of diaphragm pumps, available in electric-driven and engine-driven models.
